August 20, 1998 Wag the What now?
"Wag the Dog" is a great movie. But can life really imitate art at the expense of innocent civilian lives? Let's get serious now. The president is but one man, and one man, no matter how powerful, does this plan of attack make. For the majority of the country to say anything else is to call the president a murderer. In that case, we should ask, who voted for him then?
The point is, Osama bin Laden, the target of these attacks, is no movie star but a real, living, breathing threat, and if he, beyond a doubt, is a danger to innocent people in America and around the world, then he must be stopped. We'll give the government the benefit of the doubt on this one. Taxes, however, are another issue. Kidding.
