It was inevitable, only a matter of time before the backlash began. And now Pfizer, the maker of man's new best friend Viagra, is getting smacked by an $85 million lawsuit. The man claims that a recent heart attack was the result of his popping the pill.
Win or lose, expect to see more of this activity in the not-too-distant future. Because for every miracle drug that beams brightly from the pharmacy counter, there are handfuls of potentially nasty side effects that the drug's users are unaware of. In a nutshell? Don't mess with Mother Nature.
